Member of Knesset Itzik Shmuli (Labor) has called the Likud's request for the attorney general to investigate his ties with the Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper "total nonsense that is not worthy of a response".
Shmuli wrote on Twitter, "I am very proud of the tremendous changes that I made during this term, especially for the weaker sectors of the population, and I am proud that they received a great deal of public resonance."
