The Likud reported that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has held telephone conversations with leaders of right-wing parties, rabbis and public figures in the past 24 hours, in order to secure an additional union in the right-wing bloc to prevent waste of votes.
"At a time when Tzipi Livni leaves politics to avoid wasting votes and hurting the leftist bloc, and Gantz is working to unite with Orly Levy so as not to lose a voice on the left - the Jewish Home and the National Union must show responsibility and act without delay to unite all the forces on the right, Otherwise, the left will win, Gantz will form a leftist government and that will be a severe blow," the party said in a statement.
