The journalist, author and social activist Elyashiv Reichner joined Bennett and Shaked's "New Right" party. Reichener (43), a resident of Yeruham, is a journalist, writer and social activist. He began his journalistic activities in the newspaper Hatzofe and in the journal Nekuda, and in 2000 he moved to the Makor Rishon newspaper. In addition, he served as assistant to the director of programs on the "Tekhelet" channel, former MK and Minister Uri Orbach, and later edited Jewish programs on various television channels.
Reichner is married to Dafna and father of five.
