Senior Palestinian Authority officials have told the Israel Public Broadcasting Corporation that on Wednesday, PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas will convene the committee responsible for drawing up ties with Israel in the presence of the Palestinian prime minister and the leadership of Fatah to discuss Israel's decision to offset the salaries paid by the PA to terrorists and their families from the tax transfers Israel makes to the PA.
The officials said, "There will be very serious consequences following Israel's decision to offset tax revenues, and there are many options on the table ... The consultations will continue for the next two days."
