Chairman Gal Hirsch of the Magen party is convinced of the success of his party in the elections and is not deterred by the gloomy polls. The retired brigadier general told Arutz Sheva, "I mention the Pensioners Party, and this is enough to make it clear that polls are a matter of the day that the parties are surveyed."

Hirsch did not rule out unions with other right-wing parties ahead of the submission of the lists on Thursday, but said the Magen Party is preparing for an independent run.
