The Supreme Court of the Likud Party has rejected outright the petition against the winner of the Negev district, Dr. Shlomo Kara'i.

Kara'i responded by saying, "We are moving forward for the sake of the public and for the benefit of the Likud movement. A strong Likud with 40 seats will be a strong backbone for the benefit of the State of Israel. The residents of the periphery, the south and the young couples stand before our eyes."
