The Tel Aviv Magistrates Court has sentenced Ran Lahiani to 77 months in prison and Ariel Baruchim to 56 months in prison in a plea bargain on charges of fraud and abuse of the elderly under aggravated circumstances, as well as tax offenses amounting to millions of shekels in what has been called "the plumber sting".

In addition, the two were fined a total of NIS 270,000 in compensation to the victims of the crime.
