The Ministry of Culture and Minister Miri Regev have congratulated filmmaker Nadav Lapid on his prestigious award at the Berlin Film Festival.
A ministry statement said, "This is further evidence of the success of Israeli cinema in the world. At the same time, no one in the ministry has seen the film. We do not have the knowledge whether the film raises issues that are harmful to the State of Israel." The movement is about an expatriate in Paris after his service in the Israel Defense Forces, wrestling with his identity.
