An Israeli plane from El Al landed at Entebbe airport for the first time since the military operation in 1976 to free Air France passengers.
The pilot of the flight recalled watching a movie about the operation a year later, saying, "If an angel had come and whispered in my ear that 13 years later I would fly planes that participated in the operation and that after 42 years I would land in Entebbe as and El Al captain and be photgraphed against the background of that tower, I would have laughed a lot."
