Venezuelan Opposition Leader Juan Guaido, recognized by many countries as the nation's interim president, has told the Yisrael Hayom newspaper that he will renew his country's relations with Israel.
Guaido said, "We have begun to work to renew the relationship, and I am very happy to announce that the process of stabilizing relations with Israel is in full swing. This is very important for us. First we will renew the relations, then we will announce the appointment of an ambassador to Israel, and we very much hope that an ambassador from Israel will come to us."
