Deputy Health Minister Yaakov Litzman has met at Hadassah Hospital with representatives of all parties to try to reach an agreement and prevent the strike tomorrow.
Litzman once again called on doctors to return to work and not undertake a strike that would harm the sick public, especially during this period in which there is crowding in the hospital system. The Israel Medical Association rejected his proposal that the IMA cancel the strike and he would personally commit to interns being admitted to the Hadassah staff in March.
