Following up on complaints to its Public Inquries Department, the Ministry of Communications has imposed a sanction of 194,000 shekels on Netvision due to its subscription of customers to its internet service without explicit consent.
In some cases Netvision's sales representatives impersonated the representatives of Bezeq, which provides the Internet infrastructure. There was also a misrepresentation that customers were already affiliated with Netvision, and the representatives only wanted to give them a discount.
