The Yesh Atid party has responded to what it called Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's "late statement" regarding the law to offset the salaries of terrorists by saying, "The time has come for Netanyahu to start worrying about the security of the citizens of Israel, it's a shame that it took him only 40 days, and the despicable murder of Ori Ansbacher of blessed memory in order to act."
The party's statement continued, "This is the second time Member of Knesset Elazar Stern has pushed Netanyahu to carry out his duties. If the prime minister and defense minister focused on the lives of the citizens and not only on his own investigations, the law of offsetting the salaries of terrorists that we passed together with Avi Dichter would be implemented and the motivation of the potential terrorists would decrease. We feel the pain of the Ansbacher family, and hope that this time Netanyahu will act and not make do with declarations."
