In a post on Twitter, Former Mayor of Jerusalem and Likud candidate for the Knesset Nir Barkat, wished His Sister-in-law and former owner of Hapoel Beersheva Alona Barkat success in her upcoming run for the Knesset on with the New Right, writing:
"I love you Alona Barkat dear sister-in-law and wish you success with your entry into the public service.
After you have worked and succeeded in Beersheva and elsewhere, I am sure that you will work and succeed for the sake of the whole of Israel.I'm sure we'll know how to work together as always after the election."
