A source close to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed his satisfaction with the results of the primaries for the Likud list for the 21st Knesset.
"Netanyahu did not want Gideon Saar in first place - and he succeeded," said the source, who said that before the primaries, the prime minister defined three goals: "A strong and high-quality list that Gideon Saar will not lead and that his proposal for the elections will be accepted by a large majority. All these goals have been successfully achieved. "
