Walla reported that the State Prosecutor's Office filed a petition with the Jerusalem District Court following France's request to extradite Ilan Levy Neumand, a resident of Tekoa, who was convicted of sex offenses against minors and was arrested in Israel earlier this week. According to the extradition request, Neumand ran a horse farm between 1987 and 2001 and hosted youth there for riding lessons. According to the complainants, during that time he used his position to commit sexual offenses against several underage girls who came to the farm. Neumand was arrested, and in 2002, after being interrogated and released on bail, he left France and moved to Israel.
