The Histadrut Labor Federation, the management of Teva in Kiryat Shmona and representatives of the workers' committee have signed a special collective bargaining agreement that regulates the terms of employment and wages of the workers after the developing sale of the plant is completed.
The agreement stipulates, inter alia, that the rights of about 170 factory workers will be fully preserved and they will be granted an option for a three-year employment safety net. The factory produces the unique Tevadaptor product, which protects medical teams from exposure to hazardous materials and is exported to dozens of countries.
