A delegation of about 20 Thai government officials is visiting Israel to learn from Israeli knowledge and to explore collaborations with Israeli innovation in the field of cannabis growing for medical purposes.
The delegation consists of three executive directors from the Thai Ministry of Health and the board of directors of the government pharmaceutical company GPO, which will be responsible for growing the plant, its transformation into a drug and its marketing in the organization's pharmacies at subsidized prices.
