Minister of Transport and Intelligence, Yisrael Katz, announced Monday that he would appeal to the Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, with a request to bring the issue of continued discounts for the "Emek" train line for approval and government decision.
The move comes after the finance minister's refusal to approve the continuation of the discount for passengers of the Emek line for an additional period.
