Yair Lapid's Yesh Atid Party has responded to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's request to unite the Jewish Home, National Union and Otzma Yehudit parties by saying, "The Israeli prime minister now asked to bring Baruch Marzel, Itamar Ben-Gvir and Benzi Gopstein into the Knesset, so that he would remain in his chair and avoid accusations of bribery."

A Yesh Atid statement continued, "Netanyahu is out of control [literally "lost the brakes" -ed]." Playing on Netanyahu's comments to a social activist last year, the statement concluded, "The State of Israel has ceased to interest him."
