Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has congratulated Rabbi Rafi Peretz on his selection as chairman of the Jewish Home Party.
A statement by Netanyahu's Likud Party said, "The prime minister calls on the Jewish Home to work together to unite with the National Union and Otzma Leyisrael (Israel Power) [sic] in order to prevent the loss of seats to the right-wing bloc, which could lead to the establishment of a left-wing government."
