Two Israelis and a German citizen were charged at the Tel Aviv District Court over the weekend with several cases of drug import for commercial purposes, according to Yediot Ahronot.
Two of the defendants were arrested two weeks ago at Ben Gurion Airport after landing on a flight from Berlin. Bottles containing more than two and a half liters of the date-rape drug GBL were found in their luggage. Strenuous interrogations resulted in the uncovering of the third defendant, a resident of Tel Aviv who allgedly ordered the drug. Further investigation led to the discovery that the defendants operated a "line" to supply rape drugs to Israel from Germany in several other cases.
