Officials at the US Embassy in Jerusalem confirm that as a result of the Taylor Force Law taking effect on Friday, all American funding for the Palestinian security forces will be discontinued, including for the purchase of equipment and training.

Security coordination talks between the US and the Palestinians will continue without any change.

An Israeli security source told journalist Barak Ravid that Israel and the Trump administration are still trying to find a solution that would allow the resumption of US aid to the Palestinian security forces, adding that "the cessation of US aid would harm the functioning of the Palestinian security forces and could harm security coordination with Israel".
