Gilad Sharon, the son of the late Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, said in an interview to Chadashot 12 that he did not regret his support for the disengagement and said that "with the Palestinians, we have to work unilaterally."
In answer to the question of what his father would do today in the Gaza Strip, Sharon replied that "even four hours of electricity for Gaza is too much, if they are terrorists, why give them electricity and water and other services?"
