Leading rabbis Yaakov Ariel, Chaim Druckman, Dov Lior and Yehoshua Shapira of the religious Zionist community are calling for donations to continue funding the legal struggle of the Israel Security Agency's last detainee in the death of Palestinian Authority resident Aisha Al-Rabi, when the car she was riding in was stoned last fall.
The 16-year-old has been indicted and his trial is in the starting stages. The rabbis signed a published letter calling for donations to the "We're freeing Tzvi" Fund. They said it is possible to donate money for this purpose from ma'aser tithe funds.
