In a post on Twitter, US Senator and former presidential candidate Marco Rubio (R) claimed that the European Parliment is planning to recognize Juan Guaidó as acting president of Venezuela writing:
"After several conversations in the last few days, I am optimistic that the European Parliment will pass a resolution tomorrow recognizing Juan Guaido as the legitimate President of Venezuela. This will be an enormous step forward in bringing the Maduro crime family to its overdue end."
