The head of US National Intelligence, Dan Coates, spoke about to Israel's attacks on Iranian forces in Syria during a Senate debate.
"We believe that Iran wants to avoid a major conflict with Israel, but Israeli attacks that lead to Iranian casualties increase the chances of a conventional Iranian response against Israel," said Coates.
