President Reuven Rivlin held a working meeting Tuesday with visiting Lithuanian Prime Minister Saulius Skervnelis. Rivlin thanked the prime minister for his brave leadership in recognizing Lithuania’s role in the Holocaust, for adopting the International Holoaust Remembrance Alliance definition of anti-Semitism, and for protecting Jewish sites in his country.

Responding to Rivlin's stressing of the importance of the Iranian threat to regional stability, Prime Minister Skvernelis said, “We understand your concerns about Iran. Ballistic missiles and warheads could be a serious problem if not dealt with in time.”
