Hamas' secret council has decided on a gradual escalation in the south until the elections, in order to press Israel to promote large-scale projects in Gaza, according to Israeli public television.
Hamas believes that this is the right time to pressure Netanyahu and that they can achieve in the election period what has not succeeded so far.
