Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked praised the decision to export medical cannabis.
"Israel, which leads in the most innovative technology, is joining other developed countries today in the export of medical cannabis, which should have happened a year ago, and I'm happy the dispute between government ministries has been resolved and enabled this important approval to export cannabis.
"The use of Israeli technology and the export of medical cannabis will bring billions of shekels into the country, help the farmers and, most important, help the needy to recover from their illness."
