Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Tourism Minister Yariv Levin spoke about tourism achievements at the start of the weekly Cabinet meeting.
"We've reached a tremendous achievement in tourism, over 4 million tourists a year," said Netanyahu. "This is a real revolution that puts Israel on the world tourism map."
Minister Levin added that "2018 was an historic high year in the tourism industry. Over 4 million tourists entered Israel during the year, an increase of one million and two hundred thousand tourists in just two years, which resulted in unprecedented income of NIS 22 billion for the Israeli economy."
