A 17-year-old resident of Kiryat Gat was arrested by police on suspicion of carrying out armed robbery at a convenience store at a city gas station last Wednesday. His remand was extended over weekend and today an indictment was filed against him.
The suspect entered the shop with a handgun after covering his face. He took NIS 1,800 from the clerk and fled. In his interrogation it emerged that he committed the act following a NIS 100 debt he'd accumulated for drugs he purchased.
