IAF pilot Col. (Ret.) Rami Harpaz passed away at age 80 yesterday (Thursday).
Harpaz was captured by the Egyptian army during the War of Attrition and was released after the Yom Kippur War.
One of Harpaz's sons was killed a few years ago during a trip to South America. Harpaz left behind a wife, four children, and grandchildren.
