Venezuelan opposition leader Juan Guaido, who declared himself the country’s interim president, said on Thursday that he would consider pardoning President Nicolas Maduro and his supporters if they helped restore democracy to the country.
A number of countries, including the United States and Canada, have announced that they recognize Guaido as the interim president of Venezuela.
