Police have arrested a 23-year-old resident of the predominantly-Bedouin Negev city of Rahat on suspicion of trafficking in weapons.
Over the past few months, an undercover policeman worked to build the trust of the suspect. On Wednesday night, the suspect was arrested, along with two other residents of Rahat, during the sale of a weapon to the undercover officer. The suspects will be brought to the Be'er Sheva Magistrate's Court for a remand hearing.
