Jafar Farah, who runs the Mossawa (Equality) Center for Arab rights, is expected to run in the upcoming Knesset elections on the Hadash list, part of the Joint List of predominantly Arab parties.
Farah's knee was broken after he was arrested for his part in a Haifa demonstration in solidarity with Gaza in May. An officer was prosecuted.
