The US State Department said on Wednesday it does not consider Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro's order to break relations, or for US diplomats to leave Venezuela, as legal.
It added that the US “will take appropriate actions to hold accountable anyone who endangers the safety and security of our mission and its personnel.”
