Member of Knesset Tzipi Hotovely (Likud) told Arutz Sheva on Tuesday that she has rejected proposals from rabbis associated with the Jewish Home Party to lead the party.

The deputy foreign minister said, "I told everyone directly that I intend to continue to run in the Likud in order to reach the post of education minister in order to bring about a profound change." She added, "My way is to lead a party that is a whole of Israel, not a sector. The ability to lead things related to the Israeli public, whether that's how our army looks and if this is how the state applies laws to Judea and Samaria, all of these can only be heard when the ruling party advances them."
