Attorney Amit Hadad, part of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's defense team, has told Radio 103FM, "We presented Attorney General Mandelblit weighty arguments to postpone the decision (for indictment on corruption charges)," until after the April 9th elections.
Netanyahu has claimed a conflict between the election campaign and the hearing to which he is entitled before the filing of an indictment. Hadad said, "If we are given the opportunity for a hearing, we will show how there's nothing in the cases in question. Our argument is legal and has political implications."
