The head of the Institute for National Security Studies, Maj. Gen. (res.) Amos Yadlin, believes that the air force's attack on Syria last night also sends an important message to Lebanon.
"Israel acted tonight against the Iranian Quds Force, deciding not pass on in silence from a heavy surface-to-surface missile fired at the Golan Heights. It was also decided to demand a price from the Syrians for enabling fire at Israel from their territory. It's also an important message to Lebanon. It's important that Syrian missile batteries which fired on our planes were destroyed. This is an essential component of shaping the northern campaign."
