Chief Rabbinate starts process to strip Mordechai Elon of rabbi title

The Chief Rabbinate of Israel has began the process of revoking the title of rabbi from Mordechai "Moti" Elon following his conviction of indecent acts against a minor in 2013 and a new case, according to Israeli public television.
