Member of Knesset Oded Forer (Yisrael Beytenu), a member of the Education Committee, has responded to Arutz Sheva's report that activists of the extreme leftist Breaking the Silence organization will hold a meetingat the Experimental School in Jerusalem next Sunday evening.
Forer said, "If they make an effort to legislate laws in the State of Israel and make sure to publicize them everywhere, it is also important that they know how to enforce them. The education minister, who stood behind the law and pretends to turn the right wing into a new one, must intervene immediately and bring Breaking the Silence out of the schools." He concluded, "The very fact that the event takes place after school does not detract from its severity, since there is a great danger inherent in the idea that in the same classroom where the student learns mathematics and Hebrew in the morning, he will learn how to slander IDF soldiers."
