The temporary chairman of the Israel Bar Association until the date of the official election will be elected by the members of the association's national council on February 19.
Until this date attorney Uri Kenan will fill the position. The elections that will determine who will head the Bar Association will be held on June 18, 2019. Chairman Effie Naveh resigned against the backdrop of a recent judge-appointment scandal.
