The Academy of the Hebrew Language has created a few new words in Hebrew, based on the English words gamer, maker, making and job talk. It also adopted rules to allow foreign words to retain their pronunciation instead of applying rules from Hebrew that would change the pronunciation.
The new words were set after the Academy approached the public on social networks and on the Academy's website with a request to make suggestions and vote on the committee's proposals in general use. Thousands answered and expressed their views and made their own suggestions.
