The Association for Civil Rights in Israel (ACRI) called on the State Attorney's Office to close the investigation file against Attorney Effi Naveh, because the evidence was obtained by breaking into his cell phone "in blatant violation of privacy."
"The suspicions against Naveh are serious and the affair pollutes the mechanism of selecting judges and harms the public's trust. However, alongside the public measures, if the information about the way the information was obtained is correct, the criminal investigation must be closed immediately," the association said.
