National Security Advisor Meir Ben-Shabat returned from a visit to India on Tuesday, during which he met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. During the visit, a telephone conversation was held between Prime Minister Netanyahu and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The head of the NSC flew to India on the direct flight of Air India through the airspace of Saudi Arabia and Oman, a flight agreed upon by Netanyahu and the Indian prime minister.
Ben-Shabat arrived in India as a guest of Indian National Security Advisor Agit Duvall, and held a series of meetings with the Director General of the Indian Ministry of Defense, Director General of the Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and heads of Indian security organizations.
