Erez Zadok, a candidate for chairman of the Jewish Home Party, filed a complaint with the Dan Region police yesterday over an SMS message circulated Wednesday, so to speak, by the party, which included a link to a video tape that allegedly showed the close connection between Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked - a former party member - and attorney Effie Naveh, who was suspected of promoting judges' appointments in exchange for sex.

The party made it clear that it had nothing to do with the SMS or the video. Zadok said, "There are people who are trying to undermine the image of morals and values of the Jewish Home Party and are prepared to do so in the most despicable ways." Referring to Shaked's departure from the party, along with former party chairmn Naftali Bennett, he added, "The great criticism we have about the inappropriate move by Bennett and Shaked will be said on their merits in a proper way."
