Labor Chairman Avi Gabbay and Tel Aviv Mayor Ron Huldai recently received a delegation of the amend the Nation-State Law action group, led by Brig. Gen. (res.) Amal As'ad and former Labor Party MK Shakib Sha'anan, who lost his son, Kamil Shinan in a terror attack on the Temple Mount.
Gabbay invited the delegation to his home and said, "We will amend the Nation-State Law and add one word to it: equality, in the spirit of the Declaration of Independence."
