The Ministry of Health received a report of a rabid dog that was found in Daliyat al-Carmel and transferred to Afula (Givat Hamore neighborhood) with five puppies. One of her puppies also had the virus.
The Ministry requested that anyone who has been in contact with or has the animals in their possession in the area urgently needs to approach the Health Bureau closest to his place of residence, in order to consider the need for preventive treatment.
After working hours and during the weekend, any possible victims should go to the closest emergency room.
