The World Bank has approved a $12 million grant to increase ongoing efforts to improve the operational performance of key institutions in the Palestinian Authority energy sector.
The grant is intended to expand the pilot to a new business model for solar energy in Gaza. The new financing is based on progress in the Electricity Sector Performance Improvement Project and expands the scope of activity to achieve its objectives.
